XIX International Congress of ISAH

ISAH 2019Dear colleagues, friends and participants,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, the Scientific Committee and the Executive Board of the International Society for Animal Hygiene (ISAH), I am pleased to invite you to the XIX International Congress of ISAH that will be held on September 8-12 2019 in Wrocław. Wrocław is one of the most prominent tourist destinations in Poland and has recently been named the European Best Destination of 2018.

The motto of the XIX ISAH congress is “Animal hygiene as a fundament of One Health and One Welfare in improving biosecurity, environment and food quality”. The programme brings together various disciplines and highlights the latest findings in animal health, and welfare and hygiene, biosecurity, safety of foods of animal origin, issues regarding environmental protection and sustainable production in relation to livestock farming and other related areas.

I do hope the congress will provide you all with the unique opportunity to present your recent research results. In addition to the official programme, participation in the after-hours social and networking events will offer great opportunities to meet up with colleagues, to have interesting discussions and ponder over new problems in a stimulating intellectual atmosphere.

I am looking forward to welcoming you in Wroclaw, a city with a rich past and an interesting present!

Associate Professor Dr Sebastian Opaliński
Chair of the Organizing Committee XIX ISAH Congress
